The Ignition Handbook provides students and staff at CPIT's Creative Industry Faculty with a view of the function, benefits and processes related to Ignition itself.
Ignition profiles and celebrates creative excellence across the Faculty’s many disciplines. In that sense Ignition is the public face of Creative Industries – a year-long events programme showcasing the talents and achievements of students and staff.
Ignition coordinates the performances, exhibitions, seminars – whatever it takes to help students showcase their work. It also creates opportunities for collaboration between students in their own field or across disciplines to create new, dynamic bodies of work. Students use Ignition to show their talent and ideas, and to demonstrate their initiative.
With Ignition, their learning and progress isn’t confined to course work. Students are encouraged to network, collaborate, and dream big. It’s all part of showing employers, sponsors, buyers, why they should back them.
The challenge is for them to make the most of their opportunities with the Creative Industries Faculty, to forge relationships that will give their career that boost. Ignition is where it all starts.
